Abstract: Morning television programs represent one of the most important and essential types of programs on most local satellite channels, as they target a specific audience interested in health, sports, and social issues. This study aims to shed light on one of the most influential morning programs in Iraqi society, “Good Morning Iraq”, broadcast on the Iraqi Satellite Channel. Given the significance of such programs, the main research question focuses on how to analyze the content of the “Good Morning Iraq” program. The study adopts a descriptive analytical approach using qualitative content analysis as the main tool, by conducting a comprehensive analysis of 30 episodes aired during the study period. The research aims to identify the program’s themes, formats, and messages, in addition to exploring its role in shaping public awareness. The findings revealed several key results, including the diversity of topics covered by the program, with social topics ranking first due to the program’s close connection to the audience and its ability to reflect their aspirations, concerns, and expectations. Sports topics came second, followed by artistic topics. Furthermore, the program’s trends focus on encouraging government support for various sectors, promoting heritage preservation, showcasing signs of development, providing educational and cultural content, and opening up to regional and global experiences. Throughout its episodes, the program employed several formats and presentation styles, primarily dialogue-based, goal-oriented, and emotional approaches, to enhance audience engagement.
