Abstract: This research paper aims to provide a thorough analysis of the competition between regional and national newspaper on the basis of their content. Through this the content prioritization of the newspapers will be defined with the advertisement selection pattern of the newspapers. Also, researcher have stated how the newspapers depend upon the interest of the readers. The regional and national newspaper content difference will help to analyse their competition in today’s era. This paper reviews existing literature, examines case studies and analysed empirical evidences to assess the competition between regional and national newspapers on the basis of their content.
